Storage Solutions

Every room in the home can benefit from well thought out storage solutions. They key is to understand the needs of the homeowners and then integrate the solutions into the décor style of the home. Vestabul is an expert in this area. Explore below some of our other room storage solutions.

Family Rooms

This is the room where the family lives. Often it can be a magnet for clutter but a well thought out storage solution can help corral the chaos.

Modern Lines

The modern lines of this family room demanded a streamline solution for storage. Vestabul specified floating deep drawers below the fireplace and TV to stash gaming consoles, magazines and board games. To tie is all together a simple mantel with a water fall edge in matching wood was installed.

A similar solution was employed in this home in the main and lower level family rooms. This time the color scheme was in the grey tones. With no fireplace in one of the rooms, Vestabul integrated a rectangular window instead to bring in additional light to this lower level.

Media Rooms

Investing in a media room is a great way to add family time to your life. An evening spent watching a favorite flick with the family is always enjoyable. To get the most out of your media room the storage should be well planned.

Cozy Cave

This “man-cave” is the ultimate in TV viewing with it’s multiple screens. To keep the focus on the screens the back drop was carefully planned to hide the cords and the media was stashed away behind solid and mesh doors. To cozy up the whole space a coffered ceiling was designed to lower the ceiling while at the same time controlling the sound in the space.

Make it Mesh

Not every home has room for a dedicated media room but that doesn’t mean a media system cannot be incorporated into design. Vestabul has tucked media equipment into a variety of locations by using metal mesh to allow air to circulate around the equipment and for remotes to be able to beam through. We are sure we can find a place for your set up!

Butler’s Pantries

Incorporating a butler’s pantry between the kitchen and the dining room is a great addition to any home. This is the place to stage a meal or to set up a bar when entertaining. It is also a great place to store all of your entertaining essentials.

Classic Combo

This butler’s pantry has it all. The design included a long counter with bar sink on one side and a hutch cabinet on the other. In this passage way between the kitchen and the dining room, all of the home owners china, crystal, silverware and bar ware can all be stored. There is also dedicated drawers for table linens and candles.

Extend It

The butler’s pantry doesn’t have to be a separate room. In this modern space the cabinetry from the kitchen was extended into the dining room to produce a multi-functional area. The layout on the dining room side houses a wine refrigerator, base cabinets with rollout shelves, glass upper cabinets to the counter and floating glass shelves. This extension from the kitchen has become party central in this home.

Dressing Rooms

A walk-in closet is a requirement in most new homes and master bedroom renovations. To take this space to the next level Vestabul suggests incorporating specialized storage to turn it into a dressing room.

Making it Personal

With His & Hers walk-in closets already in place, Vestabul took the hallway that led to them and added custom storage to produce a dressing room.  Mid height cabinets were installed on both sides to house accessories, shoes and jewellery. A bench with a full length mirror was also included to complete the dressing room experience.
