In my last two VESTA Blogs I presented 6 of the 7 Trends I observed at KBIS 2024.
When you walk a show with over 100,000 people you are bound to miss something but these trends stood out to me.
- Kitchen Cabinet Interior Lighting
- Fluting and Reeding Details
- Curves and Soft Geometry
- Colorful Appliances
- Open Shelving Change
- Sinks with Built In Faucets
The Number 7 Trend is an interesting one!
This 7th trend is not a specific product but a design concept.
7. Things that Bring Your Client Joy
Kitchens and baths are often designed to conform and not show a client’s individuality.
I have often heard comments like “think of resale value”, “stay with neutrals”, or “don’t choose anything to personal”.
Because of this, consumers often choose kitchen & bath products, and looks to please others or to play it “safe”.
This new trend however is about changing that thought pattern.
The trend I observed at KBIS 2024 was definitely not about following the crowd or blending in.
So, instead of writing about this trend, I have selected a variety of pictures from my camera role for inspiration on how you might be able to bring joy to your client’s projects!
